The handheld CE-307 is an inexpensive thermometer available with a wide range of thermocouple sensors. Buttons are large and the thermometer easy to use. Extensive temperature range -200...1370°C.
If necessary, the thermometer and the sensor can be calibrated together. Reference (zero) level calibration can be performed by, for example, placing the probe in 1 l water container with half-melted ice cubes. If the reading is not precisely 0.0°C, the thermometer is recalibrated with the inbuilt adjusting potentiometer (so-called 1 degree heating mantle calibration).
Thermocouple sensors can be made by hand from wire FP-K-7/0.3. Wires are intertwined at one end, and the other end coupled to the type K thermocouple connector FMTC-K-M. We also offer a wide range of ready-to-use thermocouple sensors, which can be used with CE307 simply by adding a thermocouple connector or probes with handles. Typical applications are in construction industry, where they are used in concrete reinforcements to monitor the curing of the concrete.
