PRO80 2-wave IR sensors (1-2 μm) are ideal for shiny and reflective materials. Short wavelength sensors deliver 3-5 times more accurate results than the long, 8-14 μm sensors. PRO80 uses 2-wave measurement system, which eliminates emissivity variations over large areas.

The signal-to-interference ratio indicates the strength of the signal compared to the signal needed to obtain the correct measurement. In multicolour sensors, the signal-to-interference ratio can be up to 500...1500:1 in comparison to the 25:1 ratio in two-colour sensors. Signal interferences are caused by, for example, smoke, dust, steam and optics fouling. Williamson"s sensors are able to produce correct measurements even with 99.9% signal interference (signal-to-interference ratio 1500:1).

PRO100 multicolour sensors are available with material-specific ESP algorithms for steel, aluminum, brass, copper and many other low-emissivity materials. Multicolour measurements and application-specific ESP algorithms achieve greater accuracy than the standard one- or two-colour pyrometers (ratio measurement). When measuring aluminium, for example, the PRO120 automatically corrects the surface emissivity within 0.04-0.14 range.
